Rejuvenating Chemical Peels

Chemical peels effectively combat dull and sun-damaged skin. These treatments gently peel off layers of damaged skin to reveal a more radiant skin texture and tone. You will experience diminished fines lines and wrinkles, a reduction of age spots and enjoy restored vitality in your complexion. Results are further enhanced when combined with medical grade cosmetic products specifically designed for your needs.

Dr. VanAntwerp offers several types of chemical peels in order to answer the needs of different conditions. All of the following provide patients with smoother more lovely skin.

The Illuminize Peel is appropriate for first time chemical peel patients or for anyone looking for a way to gently refresh the skin. Clinicians apply a new generation of alpha hydroxy acids to the face and neck to maximize skin rejuvenating effects with no irritation. It will enhance the clarity and color of your skin with little or no visible flaking.

The Vitalize Peel combines retinoic acid and alpha hydroxy acids with resorcinol and other active ingredients to create one of the safest and strongest chemical peels available. Mild to moderate flaking occurs two to three days after application. This can be controlled with moisturizers. The flaking triggers a renewal process clinically proven to minimize age spots and to stimulate collagen production. It is recommended as a great way to jump-start your healthy skin care routine!

Glytone Peels range in concentration from 30-70% glycolic acid. Glytone formulated their products specifically for physicians. The doctor and clinical aestheticians will help you to decide how many treatments are needed and at what concentration level. Glytone peels combined with Glytone at-home products deliver a knock out punch to skin discoloration and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Glytone Salicylic Peels offer a safe and effective way to treat mild acne, textural changes to the skin, and inflammatory skin discoloration. Treatment will reduce the frequency and severity of breakouts on acne prone areas such as the shoulders, back, and chest. Three to six peels are recommended for maximal benefits. Patients who have an aspirin allergy should not use this peel, or any other products containing salicylic acid.
